Site Assignment! Woot, Woot!

So, I know where I am going to live for the next two years!  Surprisingly, I got a site in MATAGALPA!  Where there is mountains, waterfalls, and tons of other things!  Super excited about it!  Im really not allowed to tell you what city I am going to on a public forum, but just know that it sounds great!  There are heiroglyphics on the sides of cliffs-which is super cool.  Im going next week to visit my site and meet my new family and my counterpart. Supposedly my counterpart is going to be waiting for me at the  parada to my town t he whole day because he is worried about me getting lost.

Yesterday, I went to the Masaya market with the people from my training town.  It was beautiful.  But when we were coming back we  had to take a big school bus, instead of the express minivan and it took us two hours to get back to Carazo...one hour more then it should have taken.  But it was an experience!

Also, on Friday I had a presentation, and we found out our sites.  My family asked what I was going to wear to the presentation.  I told them of course, i was going to wear the same dress I wore when we dressed up to go to the fastfood resturant.  Then my mom and sister proceeded to make me a bracelet, earrings, and a necklace.  And they said that they were mine- I asked them how much they costed, because my mom sells the jewelry she makes, and my mom replied, "Vos es parte de esta casa¨"  (You are a part of this house).  And then she persisted to tell me that i was her daughter, the same as my Nicaraguan sister.  My family is amazing, so the next day, my sister put make up on me, and helped me get ready...It was super sweet.

Cant wait to update you guys on my site visit next week.  !Hasta Luego!
